Missing Voice Quality stream 2 Months ago  
Hi
We have been using prognosis for a couple of months and some data appears but whenever we try to analysis call stream information there is no data either at the initial screen for the entire network the Voice Quality section (lower half of the screen). Also when we drill down to monitor extensions the screen is blank for active voice stream any help appreciated

Do you mean that there are no voice streams on the main page (titled Avaya PBX)?
or Which screen is there no data on:
- "Avaya Voice Streams"
- "Avaya Voice Stream Details "
- "Avaya Finished Voice Streams"


Can you please tell me the title of the screens with no data?

Further info on the main screen Monitor PBXs there are no Voice Quality streams and if you dig deeper and monitor a station there are no active voice streams either

If no voice streams are shown this means that you are not getting the RTCP data from the phone.

Please verify that you are receiving RTCP packets from the phones. There are two ways to verify:
1. Go to Avaya PBX screen, Click on Configuration, to the Avaya Monitoring Node page. Then click on RTCP to the Avaya RTCP Configuration page. This will show totoal RTCP apckets received.
2. Use wireshark on the PROGNOSIS serevr and filter on port 5005 (or the port configured on the PBX).

Thanks for the details, I have checked the setup and at the RTCP Configuration there is no data been received , I'm not sure what IP address RTCP Monitor IP address should be is that just the Prognosis ip address?

Yes, the IP Address to configure on CM is the IP address of the PROGNOSIS server.

You should also check any firewalls in your network - the ports you need to allow are in the user guide.

You should double check that any phones are actually in the network-region 30. One way to troubleshoot is the ensure the default on the ip-options page is also set to the currect address.

Hi
On system-parameter ip-options the RTCP default server is set to another IP address for our IEX Total view server not sure if this is a error or we can't have IEX and Prognosis at the same time.
We set individual gateways to the Prognosis address but still no data , to we have to change the system parameters?

I would recommend you change the ip-options page, just to make sure it is not a CM issue. If you still dont get the RTCP when you change the system parameters ip-options page then you have a network issue.
