I'd recommend that for Avaya, you pay closer attention to Aliased phones.

On the pages which check firmware compatibility, all phones may have the latest firmware, but shown as needing updates. This is because the firmware version on the phone that they are aliased to as is greater than the firmware version for the phone they actually are.

This results in your pages incorrectly showing say... a 4610 as firmware 2.3 needing an update to 2.9.... when actually it is an aliased 4690IP at its correct latest version of 2.3.
