Default Password 3 Years ago
I have successfully installed the software, and the server is is installed on is on the domain. I try to use my domain credentials to log in however I'm unsuccessful. Is there a default login?

Re:Default Password 3 Years ago
The login you require is either a local account for the machine you've just installed the software to, or a domain account. What error message are you getting?

For your domain credentials to work, the server has to be a member of the domain and you have to enter your login in the format of "domain\username".

If the server is not a member of a domain, then you will need to use a local server account and do not specify a domain in the login e.g. "username"

Re:Default Password 2 Years, 7 Months ago
Hi all!
I have localized Windows 2003 Server RUS which works without domain. I have successfuly installed on it the PROGNOSYS program. When I trying to connect (logon) PROGNOSIS from this server I can't do that. I enter a local login and the password for this server and I receive an error: "Connection refused:connect". What to do?

The local server account should work without the domain name. From your message, I'm suspecting "All PROGNOSIS services are not running". In the configuration tool, under PROGNOSIS Server page, ensure all PROGNOSIS services are started and running.

I checked it. Both services (PROGNOSIS VoIP Monitor & PROGNOSIS VoIP Monitor Tomcat Web server) are running. Whether there is a log file in which authorisation process is reflected? May be the server security policy can be not adjusted?

Please copy paste the contents of wvlog.txt located at <PROGNOSIS VoIP Monitor Install Path>\ Server \ Configuration directory.

I suspect the local account you're using to login into the WebUI
(a) has a password which has expired
(b) the account is disabled

I suggest you check the account settings with the administrator.

Also, can you login into the Win 2003 server using the same local account?

Can you login to the WebUI using the administrator account?

If it is logged into your domain (Eg: ir/user name), you can also use the local user account on the XP machine.

Scottie,
Sorry you are having so many issues logging in to the software, we however do not have a default username and password to give you access to prognosis , we use "active directory", I suggest you contact your system administrator to take a look at your user rights etc.
If this is not possible then the other alternative is to uninstall and reinstall the software with your user credentials. Prior to going this route it may be advisable to try logging in to the software from a different pc or have a collegue with admin privilages log in.

Re:Default Password 2 Years, 7 Months ago
London,

Thanks for the suggestion. It was the admin user name and password. If I have admin rights to the PC, is there a way for me to change the password to be my network login and password?

Re:Default Password 1 Year, 9 Months ago
Just wanted to comment on this even though it is kind of old in case it helps anyone.

Prognosis was working when I first installed it to log on with my network username and password. Someone else in my department was also able to log on with their network credentials. Currently, our network credentials give us "User Logon Failed (Status: invalid user name password)". Now I can only log on with the local accounts that are on that server.

My password has changed since that time, but it is not locked out and I sign on my PC every day with the same credentials. I am the Active Directory administrator so I am certain of that. I even tried my old password as it was when I know it was working.

So, not really looking for a solution since I have a workaround, but hopefully this helps someone else.

Jennifer,

Are you able to RDP to the system and log into the domain using the same credentials you are using to log into the web interface?

Thanks,
Dave
