320 channel TN2602 medpro problems 2 Years, 6 Months ago
A problem with Prognosis and the 320 channel TN2602AP card.

I am running Avaya CM 3.1.4 and Prognosis 9.5.3 in the 60 day trial version. I have a mixture of Medpro resources including TN2302, TN2602 80 channel and TN2602 320 channel cards. In Site Admin I see 0% of DSP resources down via the “list meas ip dsp” command. Prognosis reports both of my 320 channel cards are “down” and reports Alerts.

There are no errors in the CM error reports for DSP resources.

Prognosis only shows two DSP ports on these cards (rather than 4) and they are active.

So I have to believe that the Prognosis report of boards down is incorrect. Is anyone else seeing this issue? Is there any fix for it (making them 80 channel boards is unacceptable)?

Thanks!

Then the next logical questions would be...

Estimated time to the next update (under 50 days I hope)?

Does it only fail in the trial version?

Does the more costly and configurable version for those of us with phones in the thousands have this fixed already?

Thanks!

The next update should be out in the very near future.

The configurable version had a patch issued recently in which this issue has been addressed.

I also have the 2602 boards and CM5 and reporting the same issue using the 250 user licence.

When will this patch be made available?
