ESS showing as LSP and showing down state 2 Years ago  
Prognosis is showing the ESS server B (the standby server) as an LSP and is showing in a down state. The ESS is not an LSP (it is an ESS) and the standby server is up (in standby mode) as it should be. Why is Prognosis recording this incorrectly? It is not in the Communications Error or Alarm log as down either.

Can you provide mroe info on your setup please?

You have an S87xx pair as the main and an S87xx pair in ESS mode?

What is being shown for the ESS server A and server B?

Yes, we have 2 pairs. Main site S8720 Pair and then at a 2nd site S8710 Pair (ESS Mode)
ESS Server A in Prognosis is fine, it is the backup server in ESS Mode that it cannot see. Shows as an LSP and is down.

So the server B of the ESS pair is not showing up

Can you please attach a screen shot of the Avaya Media Servers screens for each server pair?
