The Entitlement

Integrated Research is providing every Avaya customer with an entitlement license for up to 250 phones on a single PBX, from a single Prognosis VoIP Monitor server.

Beyond the Entitlement

Prognosis VoIP Monitor can be used to monitor environments with more than 250 phones and multiple PBXs, however a Prognosis VoIP Monitor Plus license needs to be purchased.  Prognosis VoIP Monitor Plus enables monitoring of up to 4250 phones across 10 PBXs, with deeper insight to device configuration, status and performance information for all phones, boards, trunks, port networks, gateways and route patterns.

How Many Licenses Do I Need?

Prognosis VoIP Monitor provides monitoring of every PBX connected device (phones, boards, gateways, port networks, LSPs) and all voice quality, including voice quality across IP trunks between non-IP phones. However a Prognosis server is licensed only by phone. One license is required for each IP phone, every 4 digital phones and every 10 analog phones.  A license is not required for non-phone devices (boards, gateways, port networks, LSPs) or logical phones (such as configured X port phones). Where a physical phone and a soft phone share an extension, only one license is required.

Prognosis VoIP Monitor Plus licenses are available in packs of 250.

Beyond VoIP Monitor

Prognosis VoIP Monitor is optimized for small to mid-sized Avaya telephony environments.  If you require more than 4250 licenses, you will need to purchase Prognosis IP Telephony Manager. This fully-featured, multi-vendor, customizable product has been specifically designed for large enterprises and service providers.
